But in any case: What are your thoughts about the use
days hours remaining
But in any case: What are your thoughts about the use of anachronism in Runescape, technologically and name-wise? While I don't like anachronism, would rather an atmosphere reminiscent of the Dark Ages and don't like real-world names in the fantasy world, this article isn't about those issues, but rather an attempt to have a conversation about them.
Hi! I was just searching for random stuff when I came across this forum. It seemed to be akin to me quite a bit and it struck me hard. After reading, Im still not planning to stop playing Runescape or anything, but I need to be reminded to be selective about what I play. Wow. According to this guy, he plays on the average for 10 hours per days. This is a lot, even for me. I'm not certain if this is an exaggerated statement. I apologize for my English, english isnt my first language...
I'm now 19 years old and played non-stop from 15-18. It was the DEVIL game that cost me three years of my life. I never went a single day without runescape for 3 years. I played between 5 to 18 hours a day. 3x10 = 10,000 hours on this evil video game, 10’000 times 6.5minimum wage equals 50'000$
This happened to me following my freshman year... I was fifteen years old. I was a happy boy, playing basketball, soccer, and tennis. But when Runescape came out, i wasn't interested in the game. I found myself playing it more each day as the years passed. I lived like this in my sophomore year as well as in my junior year.
My parents attempted to get me to stop, but I didn't pay attention. I would play for eight hours every single day during the week, and more than 10 hours during weekends. I was unable to pass my classes, and skipped school quite often. I found myself addicted to this game, and often skipped school or left my friends. It was my daily life.
